The Sirona Test Strips are an easy 10-second method for testing your spa or hot tub. These strips test for pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and bromine or chlorine.

Directions:
1. Dip your Sirona Test Strip into your spa water for two seconds.
2. Then lift the strip out, keeping the pads facing upwards.
3. Give it a single shake to shed any extra water.
4. Read the results right away and compare them to the provided color chart.
Recommended Levels:
~ pH: 7.2-7.8
~ Total alkalinity: 80-120 ppm
~ Calcium hardness: 150-400 ppm

How do I prevent the brush bristles from falling out?
Always store your brushes and nets out of direct sunlight. Constant UV exposure is what ultimately degrades the bristle binding.
Is this safe for vinyl liners?
If using a brush, ensure you select nylon or poly-bristle. Stainless steel algae brushes should ONLY be used on hard plaster or concrete.
