How often should I rebuild my chlorinator?
We advise replacing the O-rings and check valves annually during standard spring maintenance to prevent sudden failure or dangerous pressure leaks.
Do I need to lubricate the O-rings?
Yes, always generously apply a Teflon or Silicone-based pool lubricant to the new O-rings before sliding them into place. NEVER use Vaseline or petroleum products, as they will instantly degrade the rubber.
