
BAQUACIL® Metal Control
Product Overview
BAQUACIL Metal Control effectively prevents staining in your pool water caused by metals. It works by deactivating copper, iron, and other heavy metals, ensuring they don't compromise water clarity or lead to stains.

~ Not compatible with chlorine or bromine sanitizers.
~ Deactivates dissolved copper, iron, and other heavy metals.
Dosage:
~ 1.25 lb per 10,000 gallons water.
Directions: Initial:
1. Add one container (1 1/4 lb) of Baquacil Metal Control per 10,000 gallons of pool water to control up to 2 ppm of total metals present (for example, from copper and 1 ppm iron).
2. If your pool water contains exceptionally high levels of trace metals (for example, from the use of bopper-based algicides), consult your Baquacil Dealer for special dose recommendations.
Directions: Maitenance:
1. Use 1/2 lb during spring start-up or when a considerable quantity of fresh water is added.

Common Questions & Instructions
Should I add this while the pump is off?
No, targeted chemicals require thorough circulation. Keep your pump running for at least 12-24 hours after application.
Can I swim immediately after dosing?
We generally recommend waiting at least 2-4 hours after adding specialty chemicals, or until the entire volume of pool water has turned over once.
