Troubleshooting
Check Salt light on
Possible Causes
- Low salt (below 2700 ppm)
- Bad salt sensor
- Cold water below 60°F
How to Fix
Test salt independently. Add salt if low. In winter, cell won't generate below 60°F — this is normal in DFW winters.
Inspect Cell light on
Possible Causes
- Calcium buildup on cell plates
How to Fix
Remove cell. Soak in 4:1 water/muriatic acid for 5-10 minutes. Rinse. Reinstall.
No chlorine output
Possible Causes
- Dead cell
- Low salt
- Flow switch failure
How to Fix
Check flow switch (GLX-FLO-RP). Test cell voltage. If cell reads 0 amps at 100% output, replace cell (T-CELL-15).
